Have the estimate distinguish transporting the home from placing, supporting, anchoring, joining, and connecting it. Those activities may be handled by different crews or listed under different contract items.
Ask who pays if the site is not ready when the home is scheduled to arrive and what could require an updated delivery quote. Get the route and access review early enough to address problems before a delivery date is committed.
