There is no single setup timeline. The home, site, weather, permits, contractors, utilities, inspections, and required finish work all affect it.
Delivery is not move-in day
After delivery, the home still may need installation, joining and finish work, utility connections, HVAC work, steps, skirting, inspections, corrections, and final approvals. Get a project schedule that identifies who controls each step.
Ask what remains after each crew leaves
A delivery crew leaving the property does not mean every installation and occupancy task is complete. Ask for a list of remaining work, who is doing it, and which inspections or utility approvals must come first.
Use that list when checking progress. If a delay occurs, ask which later appointments need to move as well. Schedule your household move around confirmed readiness, not simply the day the home reaches the property.
