Some steps still need direct review
The land, delivery route, installation, inspections, title, financing, signatures, and local requirements must be handled for the actual transaction. Ask which steps can be completed remotely and which require you or a qualified professional to be present.
Keep an exact record of the home you select
Save the model number, manufacturing plant, floor plan, selected options, and written estimate. Online photos may show a different display package from the home being quoted.
Ask for clarification before approving selections or sending payment. A remote purchase still needs an identified retailer, a written scope, and a plan for the property. Use secure document channels and verify the recipient through established contact information rather than relying on an unexpected message.
Check what the images actually show
Request a current photo or video of any detail that affects your decision, such as pantry shelving or the shower entrance. Compare it with the quoted model and option sheet. A virtual tour is a useful way to understand the layout, but furniture, appliances, porches, and finishes in that tour are not automatically part of your order.
