A short plant history

A Little History on Clayton Russellville

Clayton Russellville used to be Southern Homes in Double Springs. Southern Homes started building manufactured homes in 1982 and was a staple of the Winston County economy for decades.

The company moved the plant to Russellville in 2014 and now operates as Clayton Russellville. The name and address changed, but the same north Alabama homebuilding operation is still working today.
