A short plant history

A Little History on Clayton Buccaneer

Buccaneer Homes started in Hamilton in 1971. They built more than 1,800 homes that first year with only five floor plans to choose from.

The company changed hands a few times before joining the Clayton family in 2009, but the Buccaneer name stayed. In 2013, the plant moved about five miles down the road into the renovated facility it uses today.
